Because our kids left to Oregon for the next 7 weeks we wanted to have Father's Day a little early so they could be here with Nathan. We started with breakfast. Ethan and Ella helped crack the eggs (which by the way are really good at). We had breakfast burrito's with avocado, sour cream, salsa, fresh parsley from our garden, toast and juice.
Our gifts to Nathan were a sweet hat (I don't know the name of the kind of hat) and his 1/6 scale jeep he has wanted. He will have to put it together and paint it. (now you know what he will be doing for the next 6 weeks with the kids gone)
After church Nathan was exempt from everything, he got to sit and relax all day long until dinner when we had our good friends the Peterson's come over for dinner. I made shish kabob's and rice. Unfortunately, I don't trust myself BBQ-ing so Nathan did have to do that. It was a beautiful day outside, it was fun to have the kids swinging and laughing while the adults got to hang out and talk.

Dinner tuned out really good!! Yummmm. We had a peanut butter pie for dessert.
I love my husband and think he is a awesome dad, I sure did get lucky!
