Labor Day at Grandma's Cabin

Labor Day we headed up to Idaho City to hang out with the Family. We had a potluck lunch, rode 4 wheelers and headed to the local watering hole to go swimming!

How many people and dogs can fit in the back of that truck!?

Frowny Emma, it took her a while to warm up before she wanted to get into the river.

1st day of school 2013

Ella is now a 1st grader!

 Ethan started 4th grade!

Zeus was sad that he has to be in his kennel all day while the kids are in school now. Frowny puppy!

Emma is now in 8th grade! 1 more year until High School!

Dirty Dash 2013

At the beginning of August, Emma, my sisters and I run/walked the Dirty Dash. It is a 10k thru a whole bunch of mud obstacles! It was really fun to do it with most of my sisters.

After the race we headed to the West Side Drive Inn for lunch. It was the perfect way to end using up all those calories playing in the mud!

15 years!

For our 15th year Anniversary we went our with our good friends and headed over to Horseshoe Bend and went Zip Lining. It was so much fun. The weather was great!

Good times! We had a blast! After Zip Lining we headed over and had Mexican Food for lunch. MMM!

My first 5k run!

After training for 3 months I was able to run my first ever 5k race! It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do but it was so worth it. My sisters Amanda and Erin ran with me while Emma did the 1 mile race.

Thanks to Erin for sticking with me. It was a great experience to run with my sister by my side while she was cheering me on!

Oregon Coast 2013

We left for the coast on a Monday and headed over to Newport to camp at Beverly Beach!

The coast was beautiful, a little windy but blue skies!

We visited Depot Bay a couple times!

We loved hanging out at the beach at dusk, the view is breathtaking.

We headed down to the Historic Bayfront in Newport and also visited a couple Lighthouses.

 Found a big banana slug!

 Found some tide pools!

On our way home to Idaho we drove up and visited the Vista House. We have seen it up on top of the mountain but had never stopped so we did this time. It is sooo pretty.

We ended up stopping at about 7 different water falls after the Vista House. They were all so pretty.
